Traffic is responsible for the highest share of air pollution in our cities today. This causes considerable ill-effects both locally, with emissions degrading air quality and threatening public health and the conservation of our heritage, and globally, with greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels threatening our climate.
Furthermore, traffic generates considerable noise nuisances making our cities a stressful and unpleasant place.

In urban traffic, due to their beneficial effect on environment, electrically propelled vehicles are an important factor for improvement of traffic and more particularly for a healthier living environment.
